Several months ago, my employer gifted me an MP3 player, along with a streaming music subscription. It's a job perk, I guess you could call it, but also part of the requirement, to test and evaluate.
I very busily filled up its entire memory with as much music as I could fit, and it's been an amazing experience, it's almost made tolerable the Tube and buses, when I have the company of Sound Team, Voxtrot, !!!, Andrew Bird, Deus, Simian Mobile Disco, Sufjan, the Walkmen...
Perhaps you've noticed this, that one tends to cycle through favourite artists, and perhaps never listen to others. So I'm a bit embarrassed, that I've only just managed to listen to the Little Ones Sing Song EP in full. It's splendid! Indie pop, in the true style of Peter Bjorn & John, Fanfarlo or Shout Out Louds.
